Lady Melbourne has Arrived: The Celebration

Quite seriously, if your going to have a celebration I think that sequins are compulsory. I wore this to the launch party for the column held at Golden Monkey.
Lychee martinis + sequins = entertainment for all involved.
Dress: French Connection
Tights: Wicked
Shoes: YSL
Bag: Vintage
Leather Gloves: Sea Jewels Boutique

I LOVE sequins... I have a a fully sequined dress that makes my friends sing: "Her name was Lola... she was a showgirl ... " :)

You look awesome... I wonder what you wore to keep you warm? Or did you have door to door car service. *nice*

OPPPS
I just posted a comment signed into my husbands gmail account, hence I deleted it.
Anyway Hey Lady Melbourne, it was great bumping into you yesterday. You looked so pretty in your super high YSL shoes (how do you walk in those???) I used to be really into lady like clothes a few years ago, I only wore ballet flats or high heels with a bow, pearls, trench coats and Chanel New York red lipstick, then I moved to Tokyo and changed again into a more street look. It still annoys me though when people don't dress up, I don't believe in casual fashion at all, you should always try to look your best.
Anyway, my blogger profile page has a lot of blogs, but my main blog is Fashion Hayley Hits Home. 2 of the other blogs are uni projects and then I have 2 blogs from when I lived in Tokyo.

Thanks Hayley, fascinated by your blog, can't wait to see how your project works out.
You never know, might bump into you again around town lurking in one of the many lane ways around town!

Girlwithshoes- I didn't quite have a car service but let's just say I wasn't left standing on the street corner in the cold. I did take a picture of the coat I wore over the top, do you all want to see it?

Style Digger- I have a fascination with Polish blogs at the moment and can't get enough so I'm thrilled you've found me. I'll leave you a message.

I can't help but think (like the seeker) the gloves were just a little off the mark - or maybe it was the pearls (cos I love gloves). That said you look DIVINE and what an stunning way to celebratexxx
