Winter cheer

When one feels a little unwell there is nothing nicer than making your surrounds as comfortable as possible, and for me that includes aesthetically.
I picked up this rather southern belle nightie and matching bed jacket at Savers for $8. It was new, I think someone had kept it in their closet for years and years and only just gotten rid of it. Happy to provide a new home, it's adorable!
The cups were also an op-shop purchase, and of course, I made the cup cakes.

Those cupcakes look absolutely scrumptious and they match your nailpolish! Hopefully you didn't eat that whole plate by yourself, but I would totally understand if you did.

Hope you feel better soon!

You, and your blog, are amazing. You have such an awesome sense of style: I wish I could dress like you do. Only, in a male translation of your aesthetic. That sounds dumb, doesn't it?

Hope your cupcakes perked you up. X

Those cupcakes look professionally done with just the perfect amount of red on top. I'd snap a dozen of them for sure!

The Collector- No I didn't eat them all!

Grant- so nice to hear from a male blogger! It's rare, well done, I'll visit your pages from now on.

Francis the sunlight lifted my spirits up full stop!

Jelenie I promise you I made them, if you look a little closer some of them are lopsided!

Imelda you always know what to say to a gal!

Mimi thank you so much. I aspired to have a blog the quality of Agathes, still working on it but she was so inspiring when I started mine.

So sorry you had to spend that lovely sunny days indoors, but what a lovely way to do it. For a sick Lady you're still looking pretty special. I love the eyelet nightgown. Now THAT is how one does glamour.

Ohhh your cupcakes are so cute. What a nice find from Savers, so glam. I'm free to go to Savers whenever as I'm on Uni holidays so just tell me when and where and lets go grab some bargains!

I'm beginning to wonder if you're a real person or just an extremely beautiful hologram...

How ever do you manage to look so elegantly outstanding when you're not feeling well? I usually don't look in the mirror for fear of scaring myself:)LOL

Those cupcakes look positively scrumptuous and your photographs are stunning. That lovely nightgown is so becoming and befitting a proper lady.

Again, the Lady Rules!

Thanks so much for tagging me. I am truly honored. I was also tagged by Sharon Rose. I'm finding that everyone I would tag has just about been tagged already.

Still I appreciate the compliment from all my Lover-lees.

Have a wonderful evening and feel so much better.
