Wow – a bridesmaids dress that is absolutely beautiful – and wearable after the fact!!! I love the whimsical creams with the harder, edgy black, it's such a nice contrast.

You look amazing! I love your blog. Greetings from Germany. :-)

Pale pink and black is one of my favourites - lovely! I'm glad you had a wonderful weekend, here in Sydney (so now you know where I'm from) it was freezing cold and I spent a very dull weekend blowing my nose and moping!

Lady M I have had a shitty weekend, but it makes it better that my Blogging peers have been out and about looking stunning.

You are, as always, a vision!

Absolutely stunning. I love the contrast of the sharp tailoring of the tux jacket against the super pretty girly dress. Lovely.

you're so lucky that you got to wear a nice bridesmaid dress! the one i had to wear was navy blue and gold with TOO many puffs and ruffles.
love it with the tuxedo blazer, looking sharp!

Hi LM, I love how the girly outfit was completed with a cool black jacket. Hope a wonderful week follows your weekend!

I am a big fan of that petticoat is is so airy and light. The juxtaposition of the tough shoes with it and the sharp blazer with the dress works really well :)

I like everything about your outfit, especially the cute petticoat...!

Bonne journée,

Mademoiselle M.

Esme- I was lucky I think, but then she has great taste so I was in good hands.

Anon- thank you, greetings from Melbourne!

Skye- For some reason I thought you were a Melbourne chick?! It was freezing here too but you take it for granted most of the time. I'm sorry to hear your nose was runny.

Grant- despair! A bad weekend? I feel so sorry for you.

Blogette- Why thank you, colour is extremely important to me and it is exactly how I saw this outfit- in contrasts.

Penny- dear me, I would have cut it up and found some other use for it but navy blue and gold- I'm thinking cheer leaders or a uniform of some kind. Poor you!
I love my tux jacket too...

Heart- thank you, I hope you have a lovely week ahead too!

-h- thank you kindly.

Danielle- that is exactly what I was aiming for, you must have an eye for detail!

Madelmoiselle M- thank you!

Kirstie- thank you, I'm glad you like it.

Puf!- thank you, I love these colorus as well.

As always thank you all for stopping by, so lovely to hear what you all got up to!

Frothy goodness here. My weekend? Spent wishing for a magic wand to wave over my house and make it all pretty without all the work.

Jeez that dress is amazingly ruffy and lovely. I like how you grounded it with the blazer.

Very nice.
You make this look so easy and casual - you inspire me to wear all my best pieces on a daily basis... but all my best pieces are light and Summer-y. I need warm weather now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gorgeous dress, gorgeous colour, gorgeous looking. And I had a perfect time, too. What makes the contrast to those grey weekdays even worse...

I just stumbled upon your blog the other day and I can't believe how lovely you are.

You should change your name to Grace or something.

It suits you.
