Saturday night fever

In a rare moment when the sun actually shone today, I managed to get these snapped. Makes for interesting shooting when you have to work around the weather!
It's time for a little soiree to catch up with new and old friends now I'm back in the city I love, and what better way to mark the occasion than with a LBD.
As I am sworn off buying any new clothes that are black, white or black & white I'm making the most of what I actually have in my closet, which is mostly that. Sweet relief!
I have a cocktail to get back to, have a lovely weekend.

SPEAKING of soirees; I'll be in Melbourne again the weekend of the 13th of December, and I'd love to get my favourite Melbourne Bloggers together for a drink at some point. Of course this would require your presence.

Love that dress too, you worked wonders with it.

You look fantastic with that drink!

About me, i love to drink something, but I hardly ever do...so, a glass each time is enough ;)

a kiss and have a great weekend!

Looking extra glam - an LBD and a cocktail is an excellent combination. Much preferable to the vomiting toddler/flat lemonade combo that I had for my Saturday night!

I would love to have seen a close up of your gloves! But the dress is-as it has always been-so becoming! If only everyone could look as glamorous as you all the time...

ohhhhh Lady M. Those gloves are divinely to die for! Please make another pair and sell them to me?

Oh I hope you're having a marvellous weekend. The weather is indeed dreadful this weekend, no?

You look gorgeous here - like a French film star.

I think you look much better without the fringe. :)

And I love the dress and the black and white photos.

Wowee! Check out those pins! You've reworked a old dress into a knock-out. Such style and grace captured in a fleeting moment of sunshine!

I don't think I've ever seen your legs like this, Lady M! I'm sure you knocked 'em dead in that dress.

Wow, you look amazing. That dress is a gorgeous shape.

I love your signature fringe, but you also look very elegant with your hair pulled back - you have a lovely bone structure that can pull off both soft and more severe styles, you lucky thing! :)
