As the sun sets

I love this dress, it doesn't belong to me, it's just on a long term loan. I think I need to buy if from the owner, only I don't think she'll part with it!
I've popped on one of the collars I bought in Paris, a perfect black and white ensemble in my opinion.
Sunset is my favourite time of the day, the lighting can be hard and soft all at once. I don't use any artificial lighting in my photos, just natural light so to me, capturing the light like this imbues them with a sense of romanticism that can't be replicated day to day. I won't get the light exactly the same every day, that's why it's special.
Dress: On loan from Miss. Sian Darling
Collar: Paris flea market

Exceedingly good hair. Polished, perfect - a real image maker. This is definitely you. I'd like to see a dark vampy lip to match those nails too. Happy New Year M'Lady.

Gorgeous outfit. You must loan the dress indefinitely. The hair looks so lovely and polished again! Lovely.

Stunning! I can see why you wouldn't want to return the dress soon. You wear it beautifully.
That haircut is perfect on you.

Magical! Positively magical!

Thank you so much for your kind words, they mean a lot considering where they are coming from.

Sidenote* Cannot wait to see this enormous cherry blossom (from last post)

You always take the most gorgeous pictures! Do you use a self timer, or does someone take your pics?

Thanks! www.fell4fashion.blogspot.com

What a striking image of you, beautiful. Love it ... and hope you can convince Miss Sian to part with that fab frock.

I love the way you use natural light in your photos, it's one of the reasons why they are so lovely.

I too am a fan of the black and white ensemble, but you always have the look perfectly polished.

Dear LM,
I too have that same dress and love it to pieces. Have you tried hunting it down for yourself?
I adore your jewellery, do you sell any of it?

Perfect hair!

As Kath and Kim would say "noice". I do love monochrome as it is a sophisticated look which transcends time ( especially when Davey Havoc has some encasing his lithe silhouette, pant, pant).
I'm not a fan of collars and that imported one looks like it doesn't know what to do with itself. The dress would be far more flattering if that collar wasn't a feature accessory. Actually the dress's own collar would look superb by itself. You could throw on some LM bracelets and wear your gorgeous Chanel lust worthy pieces.
outfit = gorgeous
Hair = magnificent
natural lighting photography = stunning
collar = yuk

No way - I just had my hair cut the same way as yours! (Only shorter.) Just a week ago, in fact. Anyway, how on earth do you get your hair to sit so nicely? Mine has a tendency to flick everywhere at the ends and be either to dry or too oily. Can you help? Thanks in advance!

Lovely – the dress is great, and I love the collar. I'm looking forward to seeing more of these collars; they've become a bit of an interest for me that just isn't fading.
I love your hair, too, it looks absolutely stunning. SO polished!

You do b&w like no other (except maybe Uncle Karl!)... Which is so on topic with my last blog post.
B&W... it's you so fluently, so authentic and true... do you almost feel fraudulent wearing brash colour? Like you are somehow betraying yourself?

I'm late as well but that ensemble is superb. I love the Victorian collar as an accessory. It is very winter 08-09 Chanel with the emphasis on the accessory. A gorgeous look to compliment your new hair style.
btw I cannot wait until winter when you don on your sequin beret. Your hair with the beret will look like you are straight from a cafe along the Siene. Perfect!
