I have a couple of books on Chanel and whilst browsing through I noticed that Coco Chanel wore bows in her hair right up into middle age. Not once did it look twee either.
That and Clara Bow were the inspiration for these photos.

great shots-wish I could see more of the hair and the outfit to go with it!
Alas I'm a great bow lover and I'm sure it always looks twee on me! Hehe. I love your hair. It looks very short here.
your hair looks great in curls... so cute.
Happy New Year! Your hair looks so cute. :)
beautiful haircut... :.)
Your hair looks so different in curls!! In a good way.. Is it shorter?
Great hair!
Very cute! Just quietly, I'm a huge fan of bows.
I guess that is where the character of B in Gossip Girl gets her inspiration from as well.
:D
Your hair looks perfect here! And I loved your latest episode of Lady Melbourne TV!
You look so classic and awesome!
An interesting change to your usual look.
Xx
you look like a gorgeous little doll :) x
I love Clara Bow and Bows! I'm 24 and wear them almost everyday and I plan on wearing them for years to come, a la Coco!

You look wonderful with curls in your hair...
Happy New Year! You look lovely as usual :)
did you cut your fringe??!
i think growing out a fringe is the hardest thing to do!! mine's almost at mouth-length now!
hope you are having a good 2009 so far! xxx
Twee? When someone is attired so stylishly I don't think that 'twee' enters into the equation - at any age!
Your photo shoot is fantastic. Your hair looks magnificent and the photography is as always complimentary.
I'm a big bow fan too... the snaps are very sweet xx
You look great! I love the bow, too. (And I know what you mean about the twee thing, it's a fine line...)
Happy New Year!
I am such a fan of bows!
Love these pictures, your hair looks amazingly beauty.
Happy new year!

The first thing I thought when I saw these pics was Clara Bow! :) Great channeling <3 and what divine photos.
I've also been reading up on Coco -wasn't she colourful, strong and so inspiring?! She changed the world...literally. I was trying to convince non fashionistas of this the other day but I know you'll understand :) A true modernist and feminist...and style icon! xxx
