Art World

I don't show pictures of the interior of the manor, except for the couch which you all know about. Following on from my post the other day about kitsch porcelain and my love of Jeff Koons, here is some of the art work that hangs on my walls.
They are by the Melbourne based artist Carey O'Grady, and you know, the eyes really do follow you around the room.

Shirt: Carla Zampatti
Pants: Valley Girl(I know!)
Heels: YSL
All jewellery: Made by Lady Melbourne

That Shirt is unbelieveably luxe - and I have to admit I was surprised to see it's by Carla Zampatti - I have always asociated her stuff with a mumsy sort of aesthetic. I now see I'm wrong.

What medium are thoes works in? Paint? Screenprinted?

ooh, i love those pics. And we just moved into a new office (it's a big, empty converted warehouse in St Kilda), but the big blank white walls are a bit depressing. Can you post where you got the pics from. Apologies if you already have and I missed it. xx

Beyond elegant and sophisticated.

I adore Carla Zampatti <3, so chic. And those pants look fab and you wear them so well and easily - and they aren't an easy style to wear!

Your art is gorgeous. I adore animal motifs.
I loved your kitsch porcelain post...I collect animal knick knacks too, it's my inner nana guilty pleasure, ha! xxx
