Step back in time: Vivien of Holloway

Sometimes you get emails in your in-box that make your heart sing, and when Vivien of Holloway got in touch with me, that is exactly what happened.
I met up with the delightful Christine here in Melbourne who fitted me for this dress, courtesy of the London based label.

I am not involved in the Melbourne rockabilly scene, nor am I a vintage purist but Christine sure knows her stuff so if you are in search of a vintage reproduction dress she is the woman to see.
The dresses are made in London, the fabric is from London and they are fully lined with a boned inner corset. Gorgeous!
So, you must be thinking, 'How do I get my hands on one of these divine creatures?'
Well chickens, just for you and you only, Vivien of Holloway is offering Lady Melbourne readers 10% off any purchase from their online shop, or for Melbourne gals you can meet up with Christine via her details below. When you make your purchase, simply add this code where it tells you to: VOHLadyM09
Love,
LM

How funny... I was looking at Viven of Holloway dresses just yesterday! I have a special party coming up and this might just do the trick!

You should consider a few more rockabilly elements in your own wardrobe LM - it certainly suits you!

I have that very dress in the same colourway! :-D

I haven't worn it out yet unfortunately...I have teeny shoulders and the halter needs to be altered - and maybe a tiny bit of length off the bottom cos I'm not very tall either. But it's a stunning dress and Christine is lovely.

Have you seen the Trashy Dive Trixie2 dress? I have one of those too and they fit just as well :-D

Oh, it's wonderful! You look fantastic!

I have heard of this store on other blogs, and always been tempted by it. I'd like the red version of yours... I'm not part of the rocker billy scene here either, but often see the rocka bella girls at the same show I go to see, and they are immaculate!
