Dark Arts

Aside from all my accessories, everything I'm wearing today is second hand and I feel so happy about it because I picked up a few compliments on this outfit if I do say so myself!
I think, in fact I know, that some people think I spend a fortune on clothes, but I don't- I just shop hard for bargains.
On I Op Therefore I Am they tell us 5 good reasons to shop second hand:
save money
contribute to charity
live sustainably
find treasure
be unique...
and I couldn't agree more. If you want a comprehensive guide to op-shopping in Melbourne that site is it.
Happy Friday and happy shopping!
Cardigan: Second hand
Blouse: David Jones brand, Savers
Skirt: Savers
Tights: Eclipse
Boots: Primark
Pendant: Chanel
Gloves: H&M

I find also that with thrifted finds, you're forced to be a lot more creative with your outfits and acessories in order to make it look contemporary and fresh! But I also agree with all those reasons you've set out.

I do love how you handle those very strong and harsh light and shadows on your couch, Lady M. That's a true model and photographer ;)

And those polka dots on your skirt are so sweet.

As always you look lovely! I simply cannot get enough of your hair- in fact it was seeing how amazing bangs looked on you that talked me into getting them next time I go for a cut!

I could not agree more with your reasons to shop only vintage/thrift stores.

Ah, the hair looks amazing too! I wish I could do that, but my hair is just super curly! :) I'm quite envious.
Love love love the gloves. You look stunning in them.

Also, I love your oxford heels...I own a pair and I feel it gives the "je ne sait quoi" to an outfit...
