We don't really have a traditional sense of a 'tree' at the manor, I love cherry blossoms so I just decorate them.
I guess the bird is like a substitute angel, and I like that it sits amongst apples and pears.
It might seem silly but I love it and it makes me so happy to look at it!

I love it! It's very original but still looks Christmassy! Very Lady Melbourne indeed.
That's a very modern take on a Christmas tree... I have to say my tree is looking a lil shabby now. My family has been re-using it for years now~~~~ hahahaahaha...
very pretty indeed! merry christmas!
i adore your tree! well done!
I think it's very, very pretty.
Merry Christmas. xx
So much better that a tinsel-clad plastic number. Did you make the decorations yourself?

That is so pretty and classy!
Very lovely & unique!
I don't have a traditional Christmas tree either, well no tree at all, but Christmas is celebrated in my household :D
Have a lovely Christmas Lady M. I look forward to reading of you fashion-forward adventures in 2010.
I love your tree! :)
Your tree is so beautiful! I am especially fond of the bird.
...and to look at it another way, you could keep the cherry blossoms till Chinese New Year in February, too! :)
Ooooh it looks so pretty!
this is stunning lady. xox
Such an elegant 'Christmas tree'! I might do the same in my flat next year - it seems like such a waste to put up an decorate a whole tree that you won't even be in the presence of on Christmas day (I go to my parents!). Bx
