Hello grey boots, welcome to my wardrobe

These leather boots are a gift for my birthday all the way from Zara in London(why oh why don't we have Zara here!!!)
I thought I was getting some stationary, so when I opened up the bag to discover these babies I swung from speechless to ecstatic in seconds.

I don't have time for a lot of words today, off to celebrate but I did end up receiving some beautiful writing paper and thank you cards, more on that tomorrow.

wowee! What a lovely gift.

Thank you for providing me with proof that over-the-knee boots can be done in a ladylike fashion. I have been lusting after them for a while but have been concerned they're not the classiest of footwear. I can happily go hunting for some now.

Oh, and happy birthday xx

Happy Birthday! I love the over the knee boots, but I just don't think I'd suit them. They look great on you.

Happy Birthday Lady M!

I love over-the-knee boots but I've always been rather hesitant to try them -- you may have just changed my mind though!

(and I agree, bring Zara to Melbourne! Maybe you can wish for it when you blow out your candles?)

Happy birthday.... and those boots?! Gorgeous! Having recently acquired a pair in brown I now want a black/charcoal pair.... damn those pesky budget limitations.

To die for!!! Absolutely gorgeous boots...and these photos are divine!
That 2nd photo is stunning and the grey of the boots makes your eyes stand out more. I know that sounds crazy but it's true!!

I love OTK boots and have a few pairs I'm raring to wear....boots and snow, the only points of winter!

Zara is everywhere in Europe and because all the girls are wearing it's clothes it became so common and unfortunately it does not impress me so much despite the fact the clothes are so beautiful. I am really sorry because this brand became so ussual. I really appreciate the Australian style, it is so vintage. For your Birthday I wish you all the best in the world and do not forget, here, in Romania you have 2 big fans, I and http://the8thdayofthe8thmonth.blogspot.com/

hI...lOVE THE boots..I want a pair of grey boots too..I can decide if I want it with hills of flat boots...I guess I will go with the second option..it´s easier to walk with flat shoes..anyway I like the color of yours....but how can I combine a color like that with my every day clothes...and is it ok to wear color boots to work with formal pants and dresses....
