Flares...yeah?

So I think its quite obvious to everyone that I can't stay away from thrift shops, and these I present to you gentle readers, are my latest finds.
The shirt is just beautiful in it's detail- for all of $5.75 I could hardly believe it myself.
The flares: in desperate need of wider opinion. I think they could rock, given the right style, but I've never been into flares- I'm so short! Given that I can sew, I had decided to make these into skinny jeans, but before I take to them with the scissors and my Janome I thought I should ask your worthy opinion.
Spectator heels: Vintage Taranto
Jeans: Gripp, Salvos
Shirt: Vintage Pelaco, Salvos
Blazer: H&M
Bag: Mango, Barcelona

That shirt is an amazing find and I actually like the flares.

I would say that they are more boot leg rather than flares- good for wearing over boots if you don't want to do the boots over the pants look. They look good... skinnies won't be da bomb for eva!

Great outift (as always!) I love those jeans, I think if you wear them with the right shoe then they look great :)

Hi,

Just read your post on my blog. No worries about it, I'm always on the look out for good aussie fashion blogs as I've just moved to Melbourne ans I'm happy to relay that there's more to Australian fashion than havainas and bikinis!

That blouse is really cute.

I like the whole outfit, I like it flared at least when you are wearing them like that.

the shirt is fantastic.
i think you should keep the flares as they are.
you already have skinnies right?
i'm thinking that one day flares are going to come back into fashion.

That blouse, what a find! And as for the jeans, i would leave them as they are. They balance is excellent on your figure. Lovely.

Hey, great blog. I'm in awe of that shirt. Personally I think the jeans look fantastic as flares. Flares are superb.
