That ol' black magic

It's that ring again gentle readers, I can't seem to get it off my finger! I love it, when I buy something new I just wear it again and again and again until I'm a little sick of it. Then I buy another something new. Ha!
I know some people that keep their new clothes like a treasured possession in their wardrobe and bring the new piece out on the next special occasion. I on the other hand have been known to wear my new clothes out of the shop.
'Cut the tag off? Truly darling if it's not showing it's not a problem, it's martini hour and I'm late!'
Surely I couldn't be the only one out there with this affliction?

This dress is from a darling little shop called Amie Jo in Equitable Place( such a sweet name don't you agree?)
I love the detail on the sleeve and around the neckline.

The shoes are Kurt Geiger, picked them and you know, just a casual 4 other pairs on sale at Selfridges. When Kurt Geiger is on sale one must buy them I say.
I'm not sure if I love them more than my Filippo Raphael(see previous post), they are equal running for my love and attention at the moment.

Dress: Amie Jo
Heels: Kurt Geiger
Jewellery: Mouche

That ring will go perfectly with the Andrea & Joen blk/wht peeps that I've selected for you!

As for the shoes...you know I'm a sucker for a print!

they are both gorgeous.

I *heart* leopard print shoes (I have two pairs of pony hair, leopard print flats... and keeping my eyes out for sweet round toe-d leopard heels)

It's interesting reading about how you must wear something new straight away. The only time I've done this is when my hosiery started to run one morning and I had a big settlement later on that day - I ran down to Djs got new hose and put them on as soon as I got back to work. Now I keep a spare in my desk draw - lesson learned.
Otherwise when I buy something new I like to take it home and think about it a little and make sure I don't have something similar already... that's been know to happen.

I'm a little of both - but I have been known to wear things straight off the rack. The staff at DJs, I'm affraid, were not amused.

loving this ensemble - that dress is so lovely. Xx

Fabulous dress. I love the little ruffley details. Sometimes I'll wear things out of the store and sometimes I'll save it for a special occasion or spend ages crafting the perfect outfit.

What cute little shoes, but then i am quiet partial to a tad of leopard print every now and then.

That dress is lovely! I am the same as you--I invent excuses to wear new clothes out, once I have them I am super excited to wear them!
Too bad about the Trxie dress, I heard they are a bit swamped at the moment. Hopefully they will get more sizes in soon.

I'm the exact opposite: A hoarder. One of my favorite feelings is bringing home a new item, putting it in the closet, and admiring it ... knowing that its time will come.

The shoes are magnificent!

Love your dress, it has a victorian esque element in it, I think. I have never understood how people can "save" their clothes and just wear it for special occasions. I, like you, must wear it very soon and lots until I get a new favorite. Why store something that makes you happy? Hm, I think this will be a new post..

So I think we all agree that we love leopard print yes?!

How interesting hearing about how you all shop, I didn't realise that people did take things home and let them reside in their wardrobes for a while.
Perhaps I should extend this post....

As for the hair, all I did was take Super Kawaii Mama's hair tutorial, plus some others on youtube and it just, well, happened!
It is much easier than you think, but I shouldn't let everyone in on that secret should I!

Oh I just adore that ring! And I was loitering around Equitable Place yesterday, I should keep an eye out for that store - your dress is divine. I'm exactly the same, with any new purchase I wear it as soon as possible, no need to wait for occasions, a new day is occasion enough!
