Saturday and Sunday

Hola readers, before I fall in a heap I thought I should make sure the weekend was taken care of first.
So much shopping was had I thought the maids would pass out from carrying all the bags, but then why else would I have them around?
I found these darling little treasures in second hand shops, and no, the two tone pumps aren't Chanel but they look it and are in fab condition. I'm not a big fan of wearing second hand shoes, but these were too good to be true.
The pale blue beauties are a pair of vintage 'Hilton' ballet slippers that are so comfortable I'm thinking about wearing them everywhere. Only joking, that's what my heels are for, god forbid I wore sensible shoes for once.
I was so attracted to the pearl cross in a Karl Largerfeld kind of way, I popped it onto my bracelet and clearly wasn't the only one impressed- Hayley's pup Hackiko tried to eat if off my wrist.
He is two tone himself so who could blame him.

Speaking of Hayley, she hosted her Spring Fashion Week wrap up party today which was delightful. In attendance were some of Melbourne's premier female fashion bloggers and much fun was had by all.
Hayley created 'pin the pussy bow on the blouse' which I thought was genius, and for my rather lousy effort I won a pair of thigh high, over the knee grey woolen socks. Now I just need to style them for you all to see!

And this is what I wore......

Pants: Cue
Heels: eBay
Belt: Sportsgirl
Top: MXT Boutique
Jewellery: Made by me!

Lady M, I'm curious about the heels you're wearing in that bottom set of photos. Do they have a hidden platform? Are they an Aussie brand?

You look superb, as usual.

I really love the details on the blouse you are wearing, and those ballet flats are such a lovely find! It looks like you Melbourne bloggers have quite a time together, heck I wouldn't fancy picking an outfit for a get-together like that one, pressure's on!

I had such a lovely time at the party, and didn't Hayley make the most marvelous hostess? As for the shoe finds, I could see those blue flats being pair with a stunning, voluminous nightgown for a little at home glamour.
