Seriously....

I don't generally sit in the sun for the sake of doing it, and I certainly don't sunbake or cook myself till I look like a bbq chook.
I take my photos in direct sunlight because, well, I have to for the sake of the lighting.
I digress, today I thought it would be lovely to sit in the sun for an hour or so after going to a shop to take photos and write a profile.
When I got home, I promtly deleted all the photos from my camera in an absent minded, sun drunk haze. All except for these.
For some reason I thought I had downloaded them, but alas in my brain fried state I got rid of them ALL.
Which means I will have to go back tomorrow and take them all over again. I hope it's not too sunny.
I did manage to finish making a black and white pearl necklace though.

Jacket: reworked vintage shell top that I did myself
Skirt: Max Mara
Shirt: Laura Ashley
Necklace: Vintage Chanel
Cocktail Ring: Garden Rose

if anything, i thought the new spring sun would have positive effects. you must have left your brain sizzling for too long...
the brain sizzling didn't effect your dress sense though!

Oh my I'd chuck a screaming fit if all my photos I've taken in a day were deleted! But the DIY jewelry must have cheered you up, no doubt.

I know a couple of maids that are in for a horse-whipping. Go hard, otherwise they never learn!

Is the necklace for sale or are you simply taunting us?

The necklace is ultra-fantastical!
You wear those necklaces so well!
Nice sunshine does tend to make you a bit giddy. It's just too hard to concentrate!
I barely got any work done today.
It was just too lovely outside!
I can't wait to gather up my coins from my piggy bank and go on a spree at the local op-shops!
Lovely as always Lady M :)

The jacket is amazing. I always delete the wrong photos... it's super annoying but I'm sure the next lot will be just as nice.

Fabulous necklace - I deleted my photos the other day too, I don't think it was sun drunkeness though, just foolishness!

Too bad about the photos, I did that too once, and I learned my lesson well. Ouch.

The sun coming in looks beautiful on that jacket, and on you.

I love the jacket. I don't really enjoy sitting in sunlight either...my family teases that I live like a vampire.

As for your outfit...gorgeous! Love the red lippy on you, you look glowing and I love that you're in Max Mara. I know that it's aimed at a demographic older than ourselves but nana that I am, I always think it's so chic.
Beautiful and laylike as always! xxx
