Spring Time

It just sort of landed here in Melbourne, the cherry blossom's bloomed, the magnolia tree's erupted into bursts of white and mauve signalling that Spring had well and truly arrived on our doorstep.
Not that you would notice- all of my winter shots were taken indoors so you probably haven't seen too much winter fashion from theses pages.
None the less, here is one of my new favourites for Spring and one that I've been searching for all winter long.
I had a very specific skirt in mind- full circle, white back ground, large black polka dots, vintage. This was a size large but nothing me and my Janome couldn't handle.
Anyhow, I declare that I am in love with it and may just wear it all Spring long!

Where would we be without our trusty Janomes? You look very pretty in that spotty skirt, but I must admit to a hankering to see it standing up and swirly!

You MADE those flowers?! So jealous! I actually just bought one like these today from DJ's :) If only I had your talent I could save myself $!

Looking divine as always, that full circle skirt is delicious.

That skirt is just perfect for Spring Time and your flowers are gorgeous.

You look simply gorgeous and very spring-like!
It's hard to find a good polka-dot skirt, the ones I've seen have small dots which don't look as nice or as flattering, Great find!
I wish I had more time to go finding lovely little gems like that!

Yes LM! Please stand up! I love love the skirt. So looking forward to wearing full 50's skirts this Summer. It's meant to be 24 degrees this weekend! I'm so excited.

I shop like that - with something specific in mind. It's torture, I never end up buying anything. I guess with all your lovely vintage finds you must also be good at snapping up beauties when you see them. Must learn that skill.

Oh this is such a chic outfit! For some reason I can't wear full on white - it looks odd on me but on you it looks sensational :D

I have a few things in my head that I'd like to find. One of them I actually saw walk out of an op shop with someone else last week. If I'd been just a few minutes earlier that gorgeous skirt would have been mine. Keep it in your head and you'll find it has been my op shopping motto. I wonder now that I've seen it whether it will now be lost to me.

That skirt is wonderful. Spring might be my favorite season, although I'm nowhere near it at the moment!

Had I known your hair was the 'golden ticket' I would have snipped myself a keepsake while we dined. xxx
