Chiconomic

I don't normally go in for the 'sales,' because I don't believe after boxing day you really, truly get the big discounts. So I save my money for mid to late Jan when the sales are winding up and whats left has been discounted sometimes up to 3 or 4 times.
I was on quite a mission to get an outfit for $100, not really because of budget constraints but because I love a good challenge, specially when it comes to shopping.
All the clothes in the post are brand new and I'm pleased to say I came in close to the target I had set for myself.
The above dress is from Barkins at DFO in Essendon, I paid $19 for it. Brand new, not a single thing wrong with it. There were 5 on the rack, go forth and shop!
Tony Bianco shoes, were $119 each, now reduced to 2 pairs for $50.

Amorni Bag, on sale for $25, no original price tag so I can't tell the saving.

Sunnies reduced to $10 from $25, Max Power at DFO(I know, I still can't believe I walked into a store whose title sounds like a diet shake. Who am I to refuse a bargain?).

Coin bracelet, $15 from Forever New.
Total cost of outfit: $119AUS.
Now theres just the little issue of the Scanlan and Theodore sale.......

I miss a good DFO bargain. Singapore seriously needs some sales outlets. :(

Well done on your bargain shopping. I love that dress.

Fab finds LM.

Those black shoes match the dress so perfectly! Once again, you've got the pins to pull it off (if I had legs like you, I'd wear short dresses aplenty!)

I love the colour of the Amorni Bag too....all caramel gooey goodness :)

That dress = <3

It is such a beautiful number, it is in your colours, and it only cost $19? Crazy and awesome!

I also really love the coin bracelet - I think the whole ensemble is pretty awesome though.

All great finds, but the sunnies are my favorite!

The dress and the bracelet are lovely, but sadly the shoes and the bag look rather cheap and nasty to me. I fear that Tony Bianco is seriously over priced at RRP for what they are. Fortunately you can rest easy knowing that you didn't overspend for these.
Can I suggest getting yourself down to Evelyn Miles for some v.serious bargains. (Prada for under $200!) I died when there was nothing in my size...

Wow, serious bargains! I would be fascinated to see your wardrobe, it must be bursting with all your stunning dresses! Or do you not keep everything?

PS - hair looks fab! xx

I like your bounty. The prices you paid are lower than Savers??
Sirocco are also having a sale at their Bourke st store. I picked up Costume Nationale, YSL and Dior shoes. Nothing was above $300 a pair.

I love the beige strappy heels! I might've broken my shopping ban for those.

I am loving everything LM. Are those sequins or beads I spot on your frock? You know the way to a queens heart now! Those Tony Bianco shoes are fabulous. The beige caramel pair remind me of a pair of Manolos I saw a few seasons ago.
As always LM looks A Grade all the way!

I really like your hair in these shots - very 60's. Is that just a regular headband you are wearing?

I'm thinking you should definitely consider saving up for a Chanel handbag (or something else slightly cheaper). I promise you will not look back.

I think this is a fabulous post because it's so timely :) I'm sure many people would find it inspiring.

I haven't done the sales at all this year, but like you, if I'd been going to I would have gone now...once the masses had departed!

I love the dress and bracelet. I'd been admiring a very similar one at Diva last year.

Your hair is stunning - almost architectural :) I think some shots of you in profile with your hair like that would be beautiful.

Oh, and I adore the mirror on your wall <3 xxx

I can have dress now?

That necklace is reminiscent of one I got at ASOS...I love anything coiny/moroccan/goldy. And those tan shoes...I've been forever searching for a lower heeled version. Love it!
