Happy Friday

Getting towards the end of a rather busy week here in Melbourne so it's nice to catch a quick drink in my favourite room of the house.
I picked up this cardigan at the Country Road sale the other day, his Lordship thought it was veering towards 'new wave hipster'(thus inferring that it wouldn't suit me), but I had an early Chanel, Great Gatsby feel in mind.
As they said, it's all how you wear it. I'm wearing a black shift dress under it, but I can imagine that it will be one of those versatile pieces.
Anyhow, happy Friday everyone!
LM

Reminds me of that Roland Mouret tux dress that Victoria Beckham wore. Looks super comfy!

It is definitely all how you wear it. I like that you chose to wear the longer cardigan with a shift dress rather than a jean. I have seen it worn frequently with jeans, it's nice to see some diversity.

You wear it flawlessly. I know what His Lordship was hinting at, but you're right - you've skirted the new wave implications by assembling a classic outfit around it. Lovely as always!

I just saw this cardigan-dress at CR too! There was a 40% off sale and it was carnage. Looking lovely, Lady M. Glad you survived Fashion Week.

Heavenly. Madame CC would be proud ;)
Love the pearls and shoes and your makeup looks super pretty.

BTW, I've been meaning to suggest this for forever, but I so think you should do a post where you channel the divine ( young!) Elizabeth Taylor. <3 xxx
