Seeing Double

I took Mother Melbourne to the Langham today for a little birthday lunch(hers, not mine) and decided this casual yet chic little outfit might just do the trick. Plus I was kind of trialling it for fashion week next week as well, I do like a good road test!

Anyhow, while down that way I popped into Made In Japan and they have a new lot of Japanese fabrics in store so I bought up and intend to make a whole lot of little camisoles. Anyone living in Melbourne will tell you that layering is essential all year around so they come in handy that's for sure.
This little cream tux jacket is a new edition, I bought it at D.F.O(Direct Factory Outlet for overseas readers) from Witchery. $199 down to $49. I can't understand why, there is nothing wrong with it but there were only two left so perhaps they just wanted to get rid of them.
Jacket: Witchery
Pants: Country Road
Camisole: I made it
Pearls: Primark
Shoes: Tony Bianco
Bag: Louis Vuitton

Love the tux jacket! Which LMFF shows are you going to? I left it too late to get tickets to most of the Runways I wanted to attend but I did manage to nab some to Runway 5.

LOVE that witchery jacket, and the pearls. I can't believe that jacket was reduced so much, I would have snapped it up in a second!

Alicia- I'll email you about what shows I'm going to but I have no doubt our paths will cross!

Casey- thank you!

Carol- not classified but I'm not that tall!!! I'm 5"1 would you believe, and just that. I've learnt how to dress for my height thats all!

Heart- Please show us, I have no doubt it is gorgeous!!

Josephine- it is different, I've used an all over colour wash rather than just a dark 50's style eye liner.

The jacket is very nice but it is those pearls that really catch my eye! They're so classic and yet modern and ultimately very, very chic.

And of curse, the Louis is the very pinnacle of wonderousness.

Love your style.
