Where is Lady Melbourne?

I've been kinda busy the last few days and I've let my photos slip- sorry guys! Yesterday I went to the dentist and had a general anaesthetic that knocked me out with a valium hangover from hell for the rest of the day so I'm only getting around to a new post now.
So here I am, not to be deterred, with a party to go to and a cocktail or 3 to be had. I made this dress to wear to the wedding last week but the Isabella Oliver dress arrived in time so it's kind of perfect that I have somewhere to wear it this week. It was literally a sheath of sequined fabric that I made into a sort of caftan creation with a low back. Perfect explanation Lady M but you get my drift.
I needed a 'quick fix' pair of heels to go with, and found these Verali shoes on sale under $100. Puuuuurfect!

When I had hand surgery last year, I had the anesthesia that Michael Jackson OD'd on. It was awesome. The minute I woke up I was good to go.

I'd love to know where you got the fabric...and did you use a pattern or just play around until it looked right?

EEEK! Dentists! How horrible!

I hope that you're OK darling.

I'm absoluetly loving the dress - I'm having a real 'sequin' moment right now. In the Satroialist book there's a guy with a pair of black sequined shorts and I WANT THEM!!!
