You know that Dr.Jones has started to call me 'Lady Rider' because I'm Lady Melbourne and I ride around on my bike most days. She thinks its funny, I actually don't mind it, kinda cute I guess.
I gave myself the day off today and cycled to my local Savers where I picked up these gorgeous crystal ornaments. I believe it's a set with a salt dish, pepper dish, butter dish and miniature vase. I can't walk past things like this, I have somewhat of an obsession with making my surroundings as beautiful as possible. I'll even spend my last $5 on something incidental that will make me happy to look at, knowing I won't be paid for days.
Silly or sensible? I wonder what you would all spend your last $5 on hhhmmm?!

They're so gorgeous! What brand is your necklace? It's really pretty :)
I adore your simple outfit and those flowers!
Bon weekend!

my last $5? A magazine...though I'd probably have to sweet talk the check out boy into giving me a discount, given that there's so few for $5 or under. =P
Happy Friday!
You're like a sweet little birdy, attracted to all things sparkly and beautiful.
My last five dollars? Probably white chocolate. Please.
mmmm probably a Toblarone

A book from my local op shop :)
I would spend my last five bucks on a magazine! Any magazine!
Oh, I love those clear shadows on your pic! I wish we have some sunshine, but it is cloudy and cold winter here.
What gorgeous crystal ornaments! Love them :)
I think I would spend my last $5 on an iced chocolate.. Or if it were cold a hot chocolate! Hell, anything chocolate would be good :)
Augh I too have a silly obsession with little crystal bowls. You can see several of them (I think) in my Spaces posts. I have about ten and one crystal goblet I use as a pen holder because I couldn't find a vase wide enough. Why? I don't know, I just have magpie eyes. I have paid way too much for my little crystal knick-knacks, and would definitely spend my last $5 on one! xo
Gorgeous pieces! And it looks so summery and warm! still months of winter here(sigh), enjoy your weekend!
Your ornaments are so pretty and nothing beats fresh flowers I think.
I spent yesterday's last $5 on a scarf from my friend's vintage shop. It is brown and cream and pink - like neapolitan ice cream! - and has little daisies all over it. Too cute, I couldn't resist.
my last fiver? probably food..//:P
those flowers are beautiful! I just stole some blooms from my neighbour, haha, whoops! (well.. they were hanging over my fence...).
I quite often spend my last $5 at Diva.. usually a ridiculously sized ring ;)
haha! i am just the same, the company i work for went into liquidation yesterday and today I have no job, however I couldn't pass up a beautiful retro kitchen timer for 20 bucks at The Cool Room in Carlisle St this afternoon!
Looks like a perfect Melbourne day:) Flowers bring smiles to my lips!
I'm heading to Melbourne in Feb... Any recomendations for cafes, shops, vintage etc? Who better to ask than Lady Melbourne herself...
I too am a secret crystal collector. I am always eyeing off my friends' parents' collections. If I had a crystal tableware set, I'd use it everyday! To hell with lead poisoning :)
