Take a deep breath: Can Lady M do 5 days of boho?

I asked you guys last week, 'What you would like to see me wearing for the next 5 days?' and I thought your suggestions were just fantastic. This little diversion is aimed at getting me to step outside my comfort zone for a couple of days(plus I love a challenge!) so I chose to go with boho because quite frankly, the thought terrifies me. It is a trend/look/way of life that just seemed to pass me by so I had to try pretty hard to pull this look together.
I realise it's still going with the hippie luxe look a la Gucci AW08 but hopefully as the week goes along I will relax into it. Otherwise god knows what you will be seeing this week!
I'm using all my own clothes as well, in an attempt to prove to myself if nothing else that it's all about the way you put things together. The black lace vest and scarf as seen in this post is how I would normally wear these items, and the little embroidered vest from H&M would normally be seen with a silk dress and Chanel bag!
Anyhow day one, let's see how long it lasts!

Lady, it actually really suits you! i'm a bit partial to boho anyway but you look very cute and very sophisticated!
Maybe after the challange you could still incorporate boho into your day to day look- it looks too god to be banished after the week!

I'm thinking Brunswick St, but hey these days - you can pretty much wear whatever you dare anywhere (cept maybe footy!)

I do love this look but sometimes I think black is to heavy for boho! I prefer browns! Can't wait to see what else you come up with! xoxo E

This looks so lovely on you - I love how you've managed to keep the boho look polished rather than ratty.

When you've got it, you've just got it. For all your fear you've pulled it off with class. Incorporating your love of black and white into the look is fantastic. It keeps you in the style and I think that is the key. You can follow a trend 100% and look fake, or you can make it yours and it looks completely natural. Well done. :)

I think I'd try and balance out the look a bit more next time, the boots and bag seem too heavy for the cotton dress...

cute hair, though! :)
