Lady Melbourne's Holiday Gift Thrift Competition

Time for a little give away I think, welcome to Lady Melbourne's Holiday Gift Thrift Competition!
You all know I love hunting for things second hand, so rather than me looking for the best thrifted gifts this Christmas season it's over to you.
You will need to find the best gift you can possibly lay your hands on for $10 or under from a thrift store, charity shop, op shop or second hand dealer. I know that some of you love the hunt as much as I do, and I know others just love a good challenge!

To reward you for your efforts, the prize pack includes:
1.Yoshinoya 2009 Calendar that was given to me in Hong Kong
2. Liz Clairborn cherry red patent make up pocket
3. La Clinica Gly C eye creme
4. Kevin Murphy travel shampoo and conditioner
5. Enamel bracelet picked up on my travels to Hong Kong
6. Vintage inspired gift box
7. Platinum Capri length footless tights
8. A pair on hand made Chinasoiree earrings by yours truly.

You have until Tuesday December 9th to get your entries in and the rules are as follows:
1. Send a clear picture of your find, including the receipt from the store to ladymelbourne@gmail.com. You will need to prove you bought your gift at a charity, thrift or op shop.
2. Who your gift is for.
3. Include your postal details and return email address and blog if you have one.
4. Lady Melbourne has sole discretion over the winner and no dialogue will be entered into regarding the winning entry.
5. Entries close 5pm Australian Eastern Standard time on Tuesday 9th of December.
6. Amount spent equal to 10 in your currency e.i ten pounds, ten dollars, ten crown etc.
7. Winning entry will be posted here on Wednesday 10th of December and the winner notified by email.

Happy shopping readers!
LM

I'll definitely be in this - although the op-shops here are a bit dodgy...

Yay! I'm having a stall at the Camberwell Market this weekend, so I will definitely keep my eye out for a fab $10 bargain!

The carrot has been dangled. Oh well, I am already 20 000 words behind anyway. A few more 'op till I drop' treasure hunts isn't going to hurt is it?

Great idea and I have to tell you that those earrings you made are to die for!

I noticed that they totally match the gorgeous diamond necklace my fiance bought me from www.idonowidont.com for my birthday last month. I shall plan a vintage shopping trip asap!

You have immense talent!

Brilliant! I've got all my shopping done already, so I'm afraid I'm out ... but I hope you'll post runners up, too. I bet your readership will unearth some gems.

Does Ebay count as a second hand store?
