The L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival is in full swing this week, but apart from the parades there is plenty going on as part of the cultural program.

Portable Film Festival
When this came across my desk I thought it was worth sharing as all you overseas readers can watch as well.
I have seen two of the films that feature- 'China Blue' and 'Veiled Ambition' and can recommend them to anyone interested in social and human interest stories behind the fashion industry.

OH gosh I would have loves to go to the opening showat the government house (pictured). Hmmm the films don't sound too shabby at all, I wanna go. Too bad school work is getting in the way of everything.

Thanks for the comment on my blog.

The same info came my way too LM, I've got a slightly different (but still enthusiastic) take on it on my blog.

At this stage the online Fashion Festival is all I can get to! Maybe next year I'll be able to squeeze a couple of shows in!
