Happy Friday!

Happy Friday everyone, it's really good to be back!

I haven't had a give-away for a couple of weeks but rest assured I have plenty of stuff being sent in so here are a couple of little things that might just make your wardrobe work for you.

The Flexi Flats fit into these cute little pouches that fit in your bag. I'm not one of those girls you will ever see at the end of an evening sans stilettos, but I would be tempted to pop these on. The little pouch folds out into a bag to carry your heels. They've truly thought of everything.

Second up is this cute little undetectaBELT from Sparks and Frankie. I've photographed it over the top of my dress but it is designed to be worn under tight clothing so your belt doesn't show.

I have three lovely packs to give away with both products, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post. Entries close 5th November 5pm AEST.

International visitors welcome!

This is my next little project now that things have settled down somewhat. I found this size 20 dress at Savers and just loved the fabric. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to re-cut it to make the shift dress from this vintage pattern.
Stay tuned!

Quite a fabulous little package!
All of my pants are now fitting so loose and I do hate wearing pant belts so I've been avoiding pants like mad lately. This would be a lovely little helper!

And one can always use a pair of flats. Quite a genius idea really.

Congrats for the Nuffnang awards!! :)

Aww I've been sitting here for five minutes trying to understand the clear belt...why would you wear it under clothes, what are you belting then? Your skin, your flab?

I'm intrigued but also increadibly confused!

Geek Girl said...

I've been meaning to comment to congratulate you on going to the nuff nags. Plus loving all the singapore posts! And also so wouldn't mind winning this little package!

Hi ya'll!
Thanks to all the new subscribers and readers, I'm going to try and get around to your blogs this afternoon :)

Keep the entries coming, as far as how the belt works- I'm not entirely sure myself(!) because I don't wear alot of jeans or pants, but I think its meant to be for that kind of thing. Maybe check out their website?

sparksandfrankie said...

Hi there,

I am Louisa, one of the founders of Sparks and Frankie.

Just thought I would respond to a couple of queries about the undetectaBELT...

undetectaBELT is a clear, adjustable plastic belt with a flat clasp that allows you to wear fitted tops over your jeans without the dreaded buckle bulge. It is perfect for jeans that won't stay up, baggy waistbands, stopping the back gap and flashing the dreaded G.

For more information please see our website www.sparksandfrankie.com.au or e-mail hello@sparksandfrankie.com.au

Thanks
Louisa Sparks

Oh I'm with above comment about a tutorial on resizing clothes ...

You have such a great eye for things.. I walk into Savers and feel totally overwhelmed by all the options and generally browse my size and walk away empty handed. It wouldn't have even occurred to me to look at that beautiful fabric and turn it into something more my size.

Marnie Cook said...

Hey Lady M - congrats on winning! Just had to leave a comment when I saw your giveaways - love the undetectaBELT!!!
I got one to wear with my vintage lace top and jeans. As the belt is clear (undetectable) you can't even see that I am wearing it so my lace top just sits nice and flat and my jeans stay perfectly in place. I wear the belt all the time - so easy and comfy with my pants and skirts/fitted tops. You just put it through your belt loops like any other belt except it sits flush against your clothes. No more big buckles sticking out or flashing my knickers when I bend over!
I'm getting these for my girlfriends for Chrissy as they keep stealing mine.

Love the idea of the flexi flats too - haven't tried them out yet but they look v cute!

Eileen Chong said...

Hi LM,
